Cooking in a French Mansion
I had the priviledge of cooking as a work exchange (though workaway.com) for a family who had recently bought, and renovating an 1800’s French Mansion in the village of Castillon near Bordeaux.
Here are the mediteranian (and heavily French) recipes I made whilst staying in this gorgeous home. My hosts not only showed me the secrets to French cooking but also how the French make the simplest things, like a long lunch, beautiful.
